Have you ever wanted to build or reno something but didn't know where to start? ME TOO! YouTube and blogs are awesome however, seeing something and watching and experience it being done is a game changer! My husband and I just finished our second course over at DIY Training Centre and we couldn't be more eager to get started our project. Collin, the instructor we had is fun, knowledgeable, patient and of course super easy to work with. His techniques for teaching are simple to understand and that made it easy for us to feel confident that not only did we learn what, where and how to start but that we felt convinced at the end of the lessons we could perform and finish our projects on our own. Highly recommended, if you're looking for help, guidance, advice this is the place to be and go. BONUS TIP! Collin and Jackie (his assistant I believe) Are excellent at answering questions even after you leave the course. Something you won't find elsewhere. I attended several DIY classes (tiling, reno your bathroom, flooring, start your basement development, and introduction to power tools) and each time I learned soo much and had a lot of fun! :-) Brian and Collin are very knowledgeable, patient and would stay until all questions were answered. Jackie was also very kind and accommodating to all my scheduling needs. Thanks to Jackie and Colin for the very thorough and fun learning experience we had in their training center. We now feel confident in starting our modification plans to our home. I would give them more than 5 starts if there is an option. My wife and I took the 1 Day Kickstart Your Renovation course and it was fun and very informative! I highly recommend it for people like us with no knowledge whatsoever in carpentry. Colin is definitely an expert in his craft and his enthusiasm is contagious! The all the hands on training we did are all very helpful for the projects we are planning. Aside from all the tasks outlined in the course, he also included our renovation plans in his demonstration which is a bonus. We appreciate so much the extra time and value shown to us considering we were the only trainees in our period. Thanks again Jackie and Colin for accommodating us!
